No more volleyball :-(
With yesterday’s 6:30 volleyball game, the eight-week season has come to an end. I’ve been playing on Sundays and Wednesdays since the fall, and we played two eight-week sessions of volleyball. So that would mean 16 weeks of two games, translating into 32 nights of volleyball. With three games a night, that means 96 volleyball games! Plus, I subbed a few nights, so the actual number is probably right around 100 volleyball games.
Anyway, we lost the first game and won the final two. I would like to keep playing, but, with three nights of softball for the next several months, it’s probably a good idea to simplify. It could get to be a little overwhelming if I had five straight nights of sports week-in and week-out.
Well, I’m in the middle of editing this week’s episode of “Safe At Home.” In the show, Dad, Paul, Jude, Seth and Jacob took a drive over to St. Louis to take a look at construction progress of the new Busch Stadium. Looking good!
