Still hitless!
Yup, I have not had a hit all week. I’m 0-4 this week.
Tonight, I batted 0-1 with a walk, and we kind of got creamed, by a score of 14-3. Really, we just didn’t play that well tonight. We did not hit real well, our defense made a few errors, and the other team is just a pretty good team. It’s the first time in a long time that we have been short-gamed, though, as the game ended in the sixth inning due to the 10-run rule. So it wasn’t a pretty game. But, we’ll rebound. We’ve been playing very good softball as a whole, and I’m not worried about our team’s ability to bounce back and start winning again!
An update on the laptop: I think I got Dad’s laptop back to a point where he can use it like he always has. Hopefully there won’t be any problems from here on out, but we shall see! I’m very thankful that the problem was as relatively simple as a bad hard drive. Since there wasn’t that much data that was completely lost, the only setback is the cost of a hard drive, which really isn’t that bad — especially considering what the repair cost could have been had, say, the motherboard been fried or something. So thank God!
