It is now officially two weeks until Thanksgiving

November 10th, 2005

Did you realize that? Two weeks! How are we already so deep into November?

I spent most of today working on this week’s installment of Safe At Home. It contains a bunch of video footage that Mom and Dad shot from the trip they just returned from. I’m almost finished with it; I’ll probably wrap it up in the morning.

This evening was a lot of fun! Around 4:30, Paul, John and I left to go to the YMCA. We worked out there for about an hour, and then we headed north to Fairview Heights. We first stopped at Burlington Coat Factory, where Paul visited in search of a new coat. While Paul was browsing, John and I drove over to the mall and stopped at Chick-Fil-A for supper.

After picking Paul up, the three of us headed over to the Dalechek’s house, where they were holding a surprise 50th birthday party for our Uncle Tom. It wasn’t a huge party, but we had a lot of fun. Some of our cousins and friends were there, so we had fun talking and playing games such as DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) and ping-pong. Good times. :)

That pretty much took care of the entire evening! It was fun to get to hang out with family and friends like that.
