The subject translates into “Now I know my ABCs.”
More on that later.
This Saturday started pretty early, as I had an 8:30 appointment to visit an attorney’s house in Belleville, where he wanted me to troubleshoot some problems he was having with his computer.
After working a couple of hours there, I stopped by my Aunt Mary and Uncle Tom’s house, to take a look at their computer. Aunt Mary had wanted me to come over to do a little bit of maintenance on it.
I ended up running a few different adware/spyware scans, I cleaned up some of the obsolete or unnecessary startup programs, and then I started a defrag(mentation) on the hard drive.
This afternoon, I spent a few hours working on the steno machine, learning more about court reporting. I’m happy to say that I now know the entire alphabet on the initial (left) side of the keyboard!
It goes as follows:
A (A)
PW (B)
KR (C)
TK (D)
E (E)
TP (F)
TKPH (G)
H (H)
EU (I)
SKWR (J)
K (K)
HR (L)
PH (M)
TPH (N)
O (O)
P (P)
KW (Q)
R (R)
S (S)
T (T)
U (U)
SR (V)
W (W)
KP (X)
KWR (Y)
S* (Z)
It sounds confusing, and it really is initially. But now it makes sense, and I’m memorizing more and more! It’s actually kind of fun to learn this!
