What a mess
November 14th, 2005, will never go down in history as a pretty day. It has been cold and wet pretty much all day, and it was not a very good day to be outdoors. As a result of the rain, tonight’s 9:30 softball was cancelled.
This means that our softball season may be extended even longer. Coming into today, the playoffs were scheduled for next Monday, the 21st. With this rain-out, our season could potentially be pushed back to the 28th of November. The only way for this to be avoided would be if the game was rescheduled for a different night — for instance, for this Thursday evening or something.
Since the game was off, Paul, Mark, Jude and I decided to go to work out at the YMCA. I’ve been averaging one or two workouts a week, so that’s a good way to ease into the winter workout season.
