Still hungry!
Not much has changed over the last 24 hours! I’m still hungry. But that can be due to the fact that since 9:00 this morning, I had about 500 calories. And that was because I consumed many, many more calories at breakfast.
See, some of the kind workers at Ryan’s Steakhouse provided our family with vouchers for a free breakfast. When you can feed a family of 16 for free at a place like Ryan’s, it’s a good thing.
We are very grateful to the fine folks over there. They had such a great selection of food. It rivals Golden Corral’s breakfast buffet, which has been my favorite for quite some time.
Anyway, so I ate what I’ll classify as a “substantial amount” of food. This is all well and good, except for the fact that it was now 9:00 AM, and I had used up most of that day’s calories!
Not cool. But it was worth it. The breakfast was delicious, and it was just a lot of fun going out with the family. David ended up sampling almost everything on my plate. He’s a fun chub.
Well, that’s enough talk of food. The rest of the day consisted of more website work — both FamTeam.com and this attorney’s website. By the way, I’m far enough on the site where I e-mailed this attorney a preview link of the page. So I’ll wait to hear back from him, and then I can make continue after hearing what he thinks.
This evening, Paul and I went to the east Belleville YMCA for a good workout with weights, followed by a 20-minute session on the elliptical — or what we have dubbed the “Homestar” — machine. For some reason, it has been really hard to make myself work out at the Y this week. Hopefully, I’ll feel a little more eager come Monday evening.
