Wednesday
After working in the morning and afternoon doing things such as scoping and printing depositions, Jude, James and I went over to the east Belleville YMCA in order to play basketball. We met up with Paul, our friend Ethan, and a couple of other guys we play with.
We played some eight games of three-on-three basketball, playing make-it-take-it by ones and twos to 16. As we started, the teams were Jude, me, and Greg. We won our first few games, and then we decided to switch the teams up a bit.
Paul, Jude and I ended up being on a team, and we did pretty well! All of the games we played were close, but we won all of them. I think I’m improving from week to week, partly just getting rid of some rust from not playing in a while, and I also think I’m just getting a little bit better. I still have got a long ways to go, though.
In regards to my mysteriously-late entry last night, where I quoted simply from the book of James — I was actually writing something else out — several paragraphs long, in fact — but decided to save the idea and just post that verse, which really struck me. I was in sort of a serious mood last night, so that could kind of explain the entry. 
And this will also help preface the upcoming entry that I want to make…
