Start of February
A note about Internet Explorer 7: I realize it’s a beta, but so far I haven’t been overly impressed with it. It does have a handful of nifty features, but I’d have to say Firefox, especially with the appropriate extensions, trumps it. But I’m not going to write off IE yet. Betas are allowed (often expected) to be buggy and not completely polished.
So today was a busy one! I did some scoping, printed some depositions, and in the evening, John and I drove in to Belleville to visit Laser Rock, where they have a big laser tag arena. They have recently built on an addition to the facility, and they now boast that it’s the world’s largest laser tag arena! It was pretty big.
Anyway, as we were waiting for our laser tag came to begin, John and I decided to try out the DDR arcade game. Last night, as you might remember, I played another arcade dancing game, Pump It Up/2 Exceed. This is the first time I’ve ever had a chance to play DDR in an arcade, so I was anxious to see how well I did compared to the times at home. All in all, I’d say we both did pretty good.
Tomorrow is looking to be another busy day. In the morning, I think I’ll join Dad and John in a trip to Waterloo in order to check out the new YMCA there. After that, I’ll need to dive back into the scoping of this transcript I’m working on. In the late afternoon, I have a video deposition. Then, in the evening we have our Father’s House service. So… we’ve got some stuff to do tomorrow.
